Just up the road from myhome is a field, with two horses in it.
From a distance, eachhorse looks like any other horse. But if you stop your car, or are walking by,you will notice something quite amazing....

Looking into the eyes ofone horse will disclose that he is blind. His owner has chosen not to have himput down, but has made a good home for him.

This alone is amazing. Ifyou stand nearby and listen, you will hear the sound of a bell. Looking aroundfor the source of the sound, you will see that it comes from the smaller horsein the field.
Attached to this horse'shalter is a small bell. It lets the blind friend know where the other horse is,so he can follow.

As you stand and watchthese two friends, you’ll see that the horse with the bell is always checkingon the blind horse, and that the blind horse will listen for the bell and thenslowly walk to where the other horse, trusts that he will not be led astray.

When the horse with thebell returns to the shelter of the barn each evening, it stops occasionally andlooks back, making sure that the blind friend isn't too far behind to hear thebell.

Like the owners of thesetwo horses,God does not throw us awayjust because we are not perfect or because we have problems or challenges.

He watches over us andeven brings others into our lives...To help us when we are in need...

Sometimes we are the blindhorse being guided by the little ringing bell of those who God places in ourlives. Other times we are the guide horse, helping others to find their way....

MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS AND THEIR EFFECTS ON OUR BODY CENTRES

Different musical instruments have different vibrations, each of which
uniquely affects different centres in our body.

The base sound created by the drum affects the lowest centre/chakra. For
example, this can be felt from rock and roll music. This sort of music
simply shakes off inertia. You just cannot be lazy or sleepy when drums
are being played.

The metallic sound emanating from stringed instruments have their effect
in the naval centre. If a chair is being pushed or some screeching noise
is made, something happens in the tummy. Have you noticed that if a door
creaks or any harsh metallic sound is made, something happens in the
navel centre? Solid metallic sound affects the navel region and from
there, fine stringed instruments have an effect rising up to the heart
region.

Wind instruments like the flute affect the region from the heart to the
throat to the eyebrow centre. The blowing of a conch affects us from the
eyebrow centre to the top of the head.

In ancient India, our ancestors had experimented with this relationship
between sound and the body and they had thorough knowledge about the
effects and causes of these instruments on the different centres of our
body. In fact, even a temple was designed accordingly. There were nine
doorways, and a different instrument was kept and played at each of
these door ways. In the centre of the temple, when all these instruments
were played together, the ideal intensity of the combination of all
these sounds was achieved. Drums were to be played at the outermost
doorway, then the metallic instruments, the stringed instruments and the
wind instruments. Right inside the temple, in the sanctum –
sanctorum, was played the conch and the bell. The sound of the bell has
special vibrations. It removes all negativity, depression and all
unclean thoughts from the mind, bringing alertness and clarity. When a
bell is rung, the mantra says, "the bell is the symbol of the coming
of the angels and the departure of evil spirits." A bell is rung
before the start of any puja. This is a sign for the coming of the
Devas. A Divine opening! The mind immediately opens up to receive the
Divine.

And when such music comes collectively from all the instruments,
resounding from all the nine doorways, the mind has got to be in the
Present Moment. A mind which is otherwise occupied, or disturbed, comes
back instantly into the present moment when a bell is rung.

This Valentine’s Day, make the Divine your valentine. See the Divine in your valentine and make the divinity your valentine. Have the same love for everyone, with different flavours. You cannot behave the same way with everyone, but you can love all of them. Love transcends behaviour and etiquette.

Abiding in the Self, you become the valentine for the whole world. Spirit is the valentine of matter and matter is the valentine of the spirit. They are made for each other. If you hold on to matter and do not respect the spirit, then matter is not pleased. If you honour the spirit, then you will care for the world, and when you care for the world, it will take care of you.

Keep your heart in a safe place; it is too delicate. Events and small things make strong impressions on it. A precious stone needs a setting around it - gold or silver - to hold it; in the same way wisdom and knowledge are the settings that will hold your heart in the Divine. To keep your heart safe and your mind sane, you cannot find a better place than the Divine. Then the passing time and events will not be able to touch you; they will not create a scar.

Often, you do not know how to respond, or feel obliged and bound, when someone shows a lot of love. The ability to receive genuine love comes with the ability to give love. The more you are centred and know by experience that love is not an emotion; it is your very existence, the more you feel at home with any amount of love expressed in any manner.

There are three kinds of love. The love that comes out of charm, that which comes out of comfort and divine love. The love that comes out of charm does not last long. It comes out of unfamiliarity or attraction. In this, you lose the attraction fast, and boredom sets in. This love may diminish and bring along with it a fear, uncertainty, insecurity and sadness.

The love that comes out of comfort and familiarity grows, but it has no thrill, no enthusiasm, joy, or fire to it. For example, you are more comfortable with an old friend who is a familiar person rather than with a new person. Divine love supersedes both the above. It has an ever present newness. The closer you go, more charm and depth come to it. There is never boredom and it keeps everyone on their toes.

Worldly love can be like an ocean, yet an ocean has a bottom. Divine love is like the sky which is limitless. From the bottom of the ocean, soar into the vast sky. Ancient love transcends all these relationships and is inclusive of all the relationships. Let love be. Don’t give it a name. When you give it a name, it becomes a relationship, and relationships restrict love.

Often, one experiences love at first sight. Then as time goes on, it decreases, decays, turns into hatred and disappears. Ancient love never decays. Although its mortality rate is high, love dies very young. After a few days, weeks, months, or years, it dies. In society, you say love is never a tree, it is a seasonal crop.

When the same love becomes a tree with the manure of knowledge, it becomes ancient love that goes from lifetime to lifetime. That is our own consciousness. You are not limited to this present body, this present name, this present form and the present relationships around you. You may not know your past, your ancientness. But just know you are ancient, that is good enough.

Pain goes with love. Because you love someone, even a small action can hurt you. And in hurt, you feel very delicate, very deep. Love also creates the same sensation. Separation creates the same symptom. If you don’t love somebody, you will never feel hurt by them. Understand and accept this. Then that hurt will not turn into a sore feeling. Rather, that very hurt will take you deep into dispassion and meditation.

When love glows, it becomes bliss; when it flows, it is compassion; when it blows, it is anger; when it ferments, it is jealousy. Let love be. Don’t give it a name!

Seva / Service

Surrender

Sadhana
Root out boredom through deep and continued meditation If you are unable to meditate because your mind is chattering too much, just feel that you are a little stupid, and then you will be able to sink deep into meditation Meditation erases the impressions and improves the expression Anytime you are confused, your mind is in conflict, do asanas, sit in asana. You will see, right away clarity comes. Effect of asana is clearing out of all conflicts, duality. The seed of negativity and the tendency for conflict in you can only be annihilated by Sadhana.

Satsang
Give quality time to the divine, it will be rewarded. Give satsang and meditation your highest priority One who does not do satsang is like a wild animal. Satsang alone makes you civilized. Satsang is the shelter from changing time and its harsh influence on life.

Freedom
Break through the barrier of the rational mind and find freedom for yourself Freedom is your very nature. Only with freedom do joy, generosity and other human values blossom Just an intention to be free makes you immediately free. Discipline protects freedom. You can choose to focus either on freedom or discipline, and this makes you happy or unhappy. Freedom without discipline is like a country without a defense.

Karma
When you praise someone, you take on their good karma. When you blame someone, you take on their bad karma Performing actions cannot eliminate karma. Only through grace can the bondage of karma be burnt. Prarabdha karma cannot be changed. Sanchita karma can be changed by spiritual practices.

Respect
Respect for the Self is faith and faith is being open Have respect for the Self and no one can take your self respect Someone does not need to be great in order to be respected. Respecting life makes you great.

Ego
The "I" or ego in you is a tiny atom Ego is separateness, non-belongingness The head level is safe for the ego. The heart level breaks the ego. The solve level dissolves the ego The inability to communicate occurs because of ego Someone experiences bliss, and that bliss, itself, becomes a trip for the ego. So the ego, in turn, destroys the infinity, the joy, the bliss.

Death
Divinity dwells in the void as well as in celebration. Death brings you in touch with the reality of life. Wake up an see your life is too short. The realization that life is short will bring dynamism to your life.

વર્ષો પછી મેં અનુભવ્યું કે પિતા આકાશ હોય છે અને તપતા સૂરજને પોતાની પીઠ પર ઝીલી આપણને છાંયો આપે છે. વરસાંદમાં છત્રી અનેગરમીમાં ઠંડી હવાની લહેરખી બની આપણને સુરક્ષિત રાખે છે.

એમનું ચાલે તો પોતાનાં બાળકો માટે લાકડાનો ઘોડો, સર્કસનો જોકર એટલે સુધી કેરંગબેરંગી ફુગ્ગો બની જવામાં પણ એમને સંકોચ નથી થતો. જોકે પોતાના આનંદની કોઇ પણ ક્ષણ હોય તેઓ આછા સ્મિતથી વધારે કોઇ પ્રતિભાવનથી દર્શાવતા. આવી પળોમાં પિતા તરીકે એમનું વ્યક્તિત્વ અદ્ર્શ્ય થઇ જાય છે.છતાં ક્યારેક એવું બને છે કે, માતાની સરખામણીમાં પિતાને હંમેશા ભૂલી જવાય છે. દૂર વસતાં બાળકો પત્ર લખે ત્યારે પત્રોમાં માંને પહેલું સંબોધનકરે છે. શાયદ પિતા માટે તો માત્ર થોડી લીટીઓજ લખાયેલી હોય છે, તો પણ બાળકોના પત્રમાં લખાયેલા એ થોડા શબ્દોને પણ તેઓ એકાંતમાંઘણીવાર વાંચે છે.

એ સમયે એમનો ચહેરો કદાચ અત્યંત દયામણો અને લાચાર લાગે છે, છતાં એકાંતમાં પણ પોતાના ચહેરા પરની રેખાઓભાવુકતાની ચાડી ન ખાઇ જાય એની નિષ્ફળ કોશિશ કરતાં રહે છે.બાળકો મોટાં થતાં જાય છે એમ એમને લાડ લડાવવામાં પણ તેઓ ખચકાટ અનુભવે છે. ક્યારેક મોકો મળી જાય તો તેઓ ઘરમાં સૂતેલાં બાળકોનેપોતાની આંગળીઓથી પંપાળે છે, નમીને એમના કપાળને ચૂમે છે. એવામાં બાળક જો સળવળ્યું તો સંકોચાઇને એ એવા દૂર ખસી જાય છે, જાણેક્યાંક ચોરી કરતાં પકડાઇ ગયા હોય!સરકાર દ્વારા સન્માનિત થવા છતાં પણ પોતાનાં બાળકો માટે તેઓ હંમેશ એક નિષ્ફળ શિક્ષક ગણાય છે.

ઓફીસ કે સરકારી ખાતું બાહોશીથીચલાવવા છતાં ઘરના મોભી તરીકે પિતા મીંડું જ સિદ્દ થાય છે. કયારેક વળી પત્ની બે ચાર દિવસ માટે એકલી જ કોઇ સંબંધીને ત્યાં જાય છે ત્યારેતેઓ જીવ રેડી પોતાનાં બાળકો માટે મા અને પિતા બંનેની ભૂમિકા નિભાવવા તત્પર થઇ જાય છે. રસોડામાં ઘૂસી નવા પ્રયોગ કરવા લાગે છે,બાળકોનાં પુસ્તક-કપડાં વગેરે ઉત્સાહથી વય્વસ્થીત કરે છે. આ બધાં કામને કારણે એ દિવસોમાં તેઓ ઓફીસ મોડા પહોંચી બોસનો ઠપકો સાંભળેછે, પણ ઘરે આવતાં જ એ બધું ભૂલીને ફરીથી બાળકો માટે કંઇક નવું સારું કરી છૂટવાની કવાયતમાં લાગી જાય છે. પછી પત્ની જ્યારે પાછી ફરે છેત્યારે બાળકો પિતાની ઘણી હાસ્યાસ્પદ કોશિશોની મજાક ઉડાવી પોતાની માને સંભળાવે છે, કદાચ થોડા સમય માટે ખોટું પણ લાગે છતાં પોતે પણએ વાતને હસી નાખે છે.

માની ગેરહાજરીમાં ભૂલમા પણ સ્વાદિષ્ટ બની ગયેલી કોઇ વાનગીના કે દીવાનખાનાની નવી ગોઠવણીના બાળકો માઆગળ ક્યારેક વખાણ કરી બેસે ત્યારે પિતાના હ્રદયમાં ઊઠતા ભાવ એમનો ચહેરો ક્યારેય દર્શાવી નથી શકતો.ઘરબહાર પિતા ઘણીવાર હેરાન-પરેશાન અને હતાશ-નિરાશ થાય છે પણ ઘરમાં પગ મૂકતાંની સાથે જ પોતાના પર એક ખુશમિજાજી માણસ અનેવિજયી યોદ્દાનું કવચ ચઢાવી લે છે. કોઇકોઇ વાર તેઓ પોતાની પત્ની સાથે પોતાના પરાજયના દુઃખને વહેંચવાની કોશિશ પણ કરે છે પણ થોડીજવારમાં એ પત્નીના મોંઢે કહેવાતી બાળકો, બહેનપણીઓની કે સગાંસંબંધીઓની વાતો પર હા-હં કરતા દેખાય છે. પત્ની પાછી એ વાતો કરતી કરતીનિરાંતે સૂઇ જાય છે અને પોતે સાંભળેલી વાતો અને ન કહી શકાયેલી વાતો વાગોળતા જાગતા પડી રહે છે.

ઘરમાં જ્યારે પણ કોઇ મુદ્દે ચર્ચા છેડાય છેત્યારે ઘરના બાકી બધા લોકો એક તરફ અને પિતા બીજી તરફ એકલાઅટૂલા ઊભા હોય છે. ઘર અને બાળકોને લગતા તમામ નિર્ણયોમાં પણ એલઘુમતીમાં હોય છે. ટૂંકમાં બહુ ઓછીવાર કોઇ એમની સાથે સહમત થાય છે. બાળકોના મોટા મોટા નિર્ણયોમાં પોતાની અનુમતિ ન હોવા છતાં અનેએથી પોતે ખીજાયેલા હોવા છ્તાં તેઓ બાળકોની ઇચ્છા પૂરી કરવા મથે છે. વિધિની વક્ર્તા એ છે કે આમ છતાં બાળકોની ઇચ્છામાં આડે આવવામાંસૌથી મોખરે તેઓ જ ખટકતા દેખાય છે. બાળકો ખાતર ઘણો પરિશ્રમ વેઠવો પડતો હોવા છતાં તેઓ એને છુપાવવામાં જ માને છે.

બાળકોનીસફળતા અર્થે મનોમન ઇશ્વરને સ્મરતાં-વિનવતાં રહે છે. બાળકોને લગતી કોઇ પણ ખબર પિતા પાસે લગભગ 'સેકન્ડ-હેન્ડ'જ આવતી હોય છે. શરૂશરૂમાં એમને માઠું પણ લાગતું હોય છે, પણ પછી એ ખોટુંલગાડવાનું છોડી એ સમાચારો અનુસાર સુખી કે દુખી થવાનું શીખી જાય છે. ખરી રીતે પિતા શેષનાગ જેવા હોય છે. એમણે આ પરિવાર રૂપીપ્રુથ્વીને પોતાના માથે હાલકડોલક થયા વગર, થાકયા વગર અને સતત સંતુલન જાળવી ઊંચકી રાખવાની હોય છે. થાકીને જરાઅમથું પણ માથુંહલાવી દે તો તરત જ આખાય પરિવારમાં હાહાકાર મચી જાય છે.

ત્યારે ધ્રૂજી ઉઠેલા કુટુંબને જોઇ પોતાના થાકની વાત કોઇને પણ કહ્યા વગર,ફરીથી ક્યારેય પાછા ન થાકવાનો નિર્ણય કરી પોતાના કામમાં તેઓ વધુ એક વાર મગ્ન થઇ જાય છે... દીકરો મોટો થઇ પહેલીવાર નોકરી કરવા બીજા શહેરમાં જતો હોય છે ત્યારે ઉપરઉપરથી ખૂબ ખુશ, નિશ્ચિત અને સામાન્ય દેખાવાનો ડોળ કરતાંપિતા અંદરથી ખૂબ ઉદાસ થઇ જાય છે. એ દીકરાને શાંતિથી શિખામણના બે બોલ પણ નથી કહી શકતા. પોતાના સ્વરને સંયમિત રાખવાનીકોશિશમાં વિદાય સમયે પણ તેઓ લગભગ ચુપકીદી સેવે છે. એમની આ ચૂપકીદીને કદાચ કોઇ નિષ્ઠુરતા તથા ઔપચારિકતા માની લે છે. છતાંકોઇ વાર લાગણીવશ કોઇને કહ્યા વગર તેઓ ચુપચાપ એકલા જ દીકરાના શહેરમાં પહોંચી જાય છે.

ઘણા વખતે દીકરાને મળ્યા પછી છાતીએલગાડી ન્યાલ થઇ જાય છે. ડાયાબિટીસ હોવા છતાં દીકરા દ્વારા મંગાવાયેલી ચા કોઇપણ જાતના ભય વગર આનંદથી ચૂસકીઓ મારી પી લેછે અને પોતાના આગમનને કારણે દીકરાને નોકરીમાંથી અદધી કે આખી રજા લેવાનું નથી કહેતા.

તેઓ દીકરાના ગયા પછી એનો અવ્યવસ્થિત રૂમ સાફ કરવાનો આનંદ માણવા માંગે છે પણ કપડાંની પાછળ રાખેલું સિગરેટનું પેકેટ જોઇ સફાઇકરવાનો ઇરાદો માંડી વાળે છે. સાંજે દીકરો પાછો ફરે છે ત્યારે એને કોઇ વાતનો અણસાર પણ નથી આવવા દેતા કે એ ચીજોનો ઉલ્લેખ પણ નથીકરતા. શું વાતચીત કરવી એ પણ એમને સુઝતું નથી ત્યારે દીકરાની સાથે ફકત ડીનરનો આનંદ લઇ પોતે જરૂરી મીટિંગ છે એવું બહાનું કરી દે એ જરાતે ત્યાંથી રવાના થઇ જાય છે. હા, જતી વખતે દીકરાના હાથમાં થોડી નોટોની થપ્પી થમાવવાનું સુA તેઓ અવશ્ય લે છે. બસ, આમ જીવનનીભાગદોડમાં એક દિવસ અચાનક પિતા પડી જાય છે, ફરી ન ઊઠવા માટે. આખો પરિવાર અવાચક રહી જાય છે.

એમના ન હોવાના દુખમાં એમનીહયાતીનું મહત્ત્વ કોઇ નવા અર્થમાં સમજાય છે. અને છેવટે પિતાજી ઘરના કોઇ ખંડમા એક દીવાલ પર માળા પહેરી છબિ બની લટકી જાય છે, છતાંઇતિહાસના કોઇ પણ પુસ્તકમાં એ પિતા તરીકે નથી મળી શકતા !

DIWALI OR DEEPAVALI IS THE MOST POPULAR AND SIGNIFICANT CELEBRATION FOR ALL HINDUS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD. OFTEN DESCRIBED AS THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS BECAUSE OF THE LIGHTING OF OIL LAMPS ON THE MAIN NIGHT OF DIWALI, THIS CELEBRATION IS ASSOCIATED WITH FINE COLOURFUL CLOTHES, DELICIOUS CUISINE, CLOURFUL FIREWORKS AND GAIETY IN GENERAL. ALTHOUGH IN FIJI , IT IS OBSERVED ONLY ON ONE DAY(WHICH IS GENERALLY THE LAST DAY), IT IS CELEBRATED OVER THREE DAYS IN INDIA . THIS IS BECAUSE IT IS A COMBINATION OF THREE SEPARATE OBSERVANCES.

THE FIRST DAY IS CALLED THE DANTERAS. IT IS THE BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF DHANWANTARI, THE GREAT TEACHER OF AYURVEDA (MEDICAL SCIENCE). ONE NORMALLY PRAYS ON THIS DAY FOR FREEDOM FROM DISEASE. A LAMP IS NORMALLY LIT FOR YAMRAJ(THE GOD OF DEATH), IN ORDER TO BE FREE FROM A PREMATURE DEATH.

THE NEXT DAY IS CALLED NARAK CHATURDASHI. THIS DAY IS CELEBRATED WITH GREAT FESTIVITY BY SOUTH INDIANS. IT WAS ON THIS DAY THAT SHRI KRISHNA DESTROYED THE DEMON NARAKASURA, WHO TERRORIZED THE INHABITANTS AND SEIZED CELESTIAL MAIDENS AND HELD THEM CAPTIVE. WHEN LORS KRISHNA SLEWED THE DEMON, THE CITY THAT HAD BEEN PLUNGED IN DARKNESS AND FEAR WAS BOW RELEASED. OIL BATHS WERE TAKEN TO ABSOLVE THEMSELVES FROM THE DARKNESS THAT HELD THEM. THEREFORE NOWADAYS, AT DAWN EVERY MEMBER OF THE HOUSEHOLD TAKES AN OIL BATH . THREE KINDS OF OIL ARE COMBINED AND APPLIED TO THE HEAD WITH A TUFT OF GRASS(ARUVAM PUL). EYES ARE CLEANSED WITH CASTOR OIL AND THE WHOLE BODY MESSAGED WITH SESAME OIL.

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE CLAY LAMP

Ever since my part 1 basic course in Dec 2005, I had a inner feeling that I wanted to become a AOL teacher. I was in India during the silver jubilee celebrations and was amazed with everything I saw from people to volunteers and ashram ect ect

2006 was a busy year that just passed like every year but in 2007 after my operation I did my first Advance course and I felt more amazed. Which gave me more inner sight that being a teacher can really help many people. And thus the journey began Yes plus course, DSN Course and than in Nov 2008 Bali Advance course, where I got to meet Guruji in person for the first time.

When the NZ group met Guruji I went up to him and said I would like to become AOL teacher and he said “ya become a teacher”. And 9 months later July 2009 I was in Bangalore for 3 week TTC.

When I was at the Ashram I could not believe it was all happening. I was not worried about work and things in NZ, I met so many new friends and so much love and blissful feeling. The mind, body and intellect were all cleaned out and I did not feel what was happening but part of me was changing.
I made friends with people from all around the world which includes Palestine, Germany, Iraq, Pakistan, Moroco, Abu Dhabi, Nepal, Singapore ect ect. The International TTC batch had almost 150 people in it.

TTC did not make me a teacher but it made me a Facilitator, where by as an instrument I can carry work out work to make Guruji’s mission grow. Still I am not feeling that I am a teacher, I am just a disciple He is the only teacher.

remembering 11th Aug 2009 at the completion of 21days TTC i met & made so many new friends..missing the days of TTC in Banglore ashram...thank you all for being part of the most amazing 21 days, Part 1 & Yes Plus fellowmates, Jayanth, Suraj, Chetan my Room Mates, Rozeeena & Veenja ji from NZ, Rambha and Rozila from Fiji, Simon, mary, Tanya, nisha and others from Australia, Raabya and Ali from Pakistan, Friends from Morroco, Deepan and so many from India, Friends from Nepal Ram, Madan and gang.

Cannot forget the Ultimate teacher Guruji :-), Hinaji, Darshak ji, Bau & Dinesh, Pankajji, Giriniji, Shreyaji, Rashman, manisha and all the other helpers, Sri Sri Yoga Teacher Kamleshji, the dogs that came to sadhna during day time and lovely masquitos that loved me hehe, Ashram Masala soda, our room block Vrindavan room 14 the Guards ( Gurkhas) from Nepal, sundar ji in kitchen, danching volunteer nareshji and that lovely boy who danced at satsungs.... can not forget ever, you all have contributed to my growth :-)

Entertainment icon Michael Jackson reportedly visited famous Hindu temple in London (United Kingdom) in 1999.

On July 25, 1999, he went to Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Neasden in northwest London and took off his shoes before entering the temple like all other devotees. Masterpiece of exotic design and workmanship, this Hindu temple has been visited by Princess Diana also.

According to a business magnate who accompanied him, Jackson was clearly taken with the whole ritual of taking off his shoes before entering the temple and the Hindu form of worship.
Michael later reportedly visited Bhaktivedanta Manor, run by International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) near Watford (United Kingdom). This temple, which contains the statues of Hindu god Krishna and his consort Radha, opens at 04-30 am everyday with Mangal Arti and closes with Shayan Arti at 09-30 pm. Besides arti (ceremony performed in adoration of a deity by circular movement of a lighted lamp), devotees here chant Hare Krishna maha-mantra also. ISKCON propagates consciousness of Hindu god Krishna and before initiation; its devotees take a vow of abstaining from intoxication, gambling, illicit sexual connections and the eating of meat, fish or eggs.

Acclaimed Hindu statesman Rajan Zed argues that Michaels fondness with poetry of Indias first Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore during the last days of his life, his being vegetarian, his knowledge of major Hindu deities, and his Hindu temple visits appear to pointing his interest in Hinduism and its rich philosophy.

Rajan Zed, who is president of Universal Society of Hinduism, in a statement in Nevada (USA) today, said that they would pray for the peace of entertainer Michaels soul. Michaels personal life might had been controversial, but he did provide joy to a large populace of the world through his music. According to ancient Hindu scriptures: From joy are born all creatures, by joy they grow, and to joy they return.

Hinduism, oldest and third largest religion of the world, has about one billion adherents and moksha (liberation) is its ultimate goal.

In 1996, Michael Jackson flew to India in a private jet. The entire airport had to be shut down and the staff lined up to catch a glimpse of the King of Pop.

India was to witness a historic concert on a scale never seen before. Sabbas Joseph, director of Wizcraft, the event management agency that pulled this off recalls, “Michael met the CM and Raj Thackeray.

This was followed by an aarti by Sonali Bendre. And then, as he was walking out, a strange incident occurred. A child fell down and Jackson immediately glided over and picked him up. He held him and hugged him with such care like he was the child’s mother.”

Sabbas was reminded of the incident years later when the controversy about child molestation broke out. He says, “The allegations seemed all wrong. Michael even shot with 100 children in India for a calendar that he was producing.”

On his way from the airport, he stopped the car several times to dance with the poor. There was a sense of excitement of him being in India. Sabbas adds that Jackson was even willing to postpone his visit for a day or two in India to meet Mother Teresa. But that didn’t work out.
Interestingly, Jackson needed a specific car with a roof that could open. At that time, the car wasn’t available in India. So, the event managers had to borrow the Toyota Privera from Anil Ambani.

Viraf Sarkari, co-director at Wizcraft, recalls that all the celebrities and industrialists wanted to meet him. “We arranged meet-and-greet sessions with him. Michael kept all his commitments. He was a gentle person and met everyone respectfully.” Sabbas echoes the sentiment that Michael was the easiest international artiste to work with as he was very humble and the staff very professional.

Both directors acknowledge that Jackson had a great spiritual connect with India. Viraf says, “We first met him in Los Angeles to confirm the concert. We were told he is very keen on performing in India. We’d presented him with a Ganesha, a Nataraj and a sherwani. And without requiring any explanation, he said, “Yes, that’s Ganesha, the god of luck.”

Even when Bal Thackeray presented a silver statue of Nataraj to Jackson, the star didn’t need the politician’s explanation and said, “Yes, I know that’s the god of dance and art.”
Finally, it was the famous sound byte from the legendary pop star that won many hearts in India when he said, “Main Hindustan aa raha hoon.”

આ પરિસ્થિતિ મા દરેક વ્યક્તિમાં શ્વાસ નહીં રહે, વિચાર નહી રહે. અને તેઓ વિચારૉથી ઉપર ઉઠી જશે. આ પરિસ્થિતિને નિર્મલ સ્થિતિ કહેવાય કે વિચારૉ વગરની સ્થિતિ આ ધ્યાનની અવસ્થા છે. આ એવી અવસ્થા છે કે જેમાં આપણી ઉપર વિશ્વ શક્તિનો વરસાદ થવા લાગે છે. અપણો જેટલું ધ્યાન વધારે કરીશુ તેટલી વધારે વિશ્વ શક્તિ પ્રપ્ત થશે.

જીવન જીવવાની જડીબુટ્ટી

૧. દરરોજ ૧૦ થી ૩૦ મિનિટ ચાલવા જાઓ અને હા, ચાલતી વખતે ચહેરા પર હળવુ સ્મિત હોય તો ઉત્તમ!
૨. દરરોજ ઓછામાં ઓછી ૧૦-30 મિનિટ માટે એકાંતમાં બેસો.
૩. દરરોજ ૭ કલાક ઊંધો.
૪. જોશ, ઉત્સાહ અને કરૂણા આ ત્રણ મહત્વના ગુણો છે જીવનમાં.
૫. નવી રમતો શિખો/રમો.
૬. ગયા વર્ષે કરતાં આ વર્ષે વધારે પુસ્તકો વાંચો .
૭. ધ્યાન, યોગ અને પ્રાર્થના માટે સમય ફાળવો.

૮. ૭૦થી વધારે ઉંમરના અને ૭થી ઓછી ઉંમરના લોકો સાથે સમય ગાળો. દરરોજ શક્યન હોય તો અઠવાડિએ.
૯. જાગતાં સપનાં જુઓ.
૧૦.. પ્લાન્ટ (ફેકટરી )માં બનતી વસ્તુઓ કરતાં પ્લાન્ટ(છોડ)માં ઊગતીવસ્તુઓને ખોરાકમાં મહત્વનું સ્થાન આપો.
૧૧. પુષ્કળ પાણી પીઓ .
૧૨. દરરોજ ઓછામાં ઓછા ત્રણ વ્યક્તિના ચહેરા પર સ્મિત લાવો.
૧૩. ચર્ચા/નિંદા/કુથલીમાં સમય ન બગાડો.
૧૪. ભૂતકાળ ભૂલી જાઓ. ખાસ કરીને પતિ/પત્નીની ભૂલો. વર્તમાનકાળનો આનંદ લો.
૧૫. રાજાની જેમ સવારનો નાસ્તો કરો, રાજકુમારની જેમ બપોરનું ભોજન લો અને ભિખારી જેટલું રાત્રે જમો! ૧૬. દરેક દલીલની સામે જીતી શકવાના નથી, મતભેદ સ્વિકારી લો.
૧૭. સરખામણી કરવાનું છોડો. ખાસ કરીને પતિ/પત્નીની સરખામણી.
૧૮. તમારા સુખનું કારણ ફક્ત તમે છો.
૧૯. દરેકને માફી બક્ષો. ક્ષમા વીરસ્ય ભૂષણમ્
૨૦. બીજા લોકો તમારા માટે શું વિચારશે એવા વિચાર છોડો.
૨૧. ભગવાન સૌનું ભલું કરશે.
૨૨. ગમે તેટલી સારી કે ખરાબ પરિસ્થિતિ હશે, બદલાશે જરૂર.
૨૩. માંદા પડશો ત્યારે તમારો બૉસ નહીં પણ તમારા મિત્રો તમારી સંભાળરાખશે, માટે મિત્રોના સંપર્કમાં રહો.
૨૪. નકામી, નઠારી અને જેમાંથી આનંદ ન મળે તેવી વસ્તુઓથી દૂર રહો.
૨૫ . ઈર્ષા સમયનો બગાડ છે. તમને જોઈતું બધું તમારી પાસે છે.
૨૬. ઉત્તમ હજી આવવાનું બાકી છે.
૨૭. ગમે તેવો ખરાબ મૂડ હોય, ઊઠો, તૈયાર થાઓ અને બહાર આંટો મારી આવો.
૨૮. દરરોજ સવારે ઊઠીને ભગવાનનો આભાર માનો.
૨૯. આ જડીબુટ્ટીઓનું સેવન કરો અને સગા વ્હાલાઓને પણ જણાવો.
